One Hour Webinar

Description

Traditional public involvement methods rely primarily on 2-D renderings that can be difficult for the public to fully comprehend. Virtual reality offers a realistic and engaging way for the public to interact with proposed transportation designs. This presentation overviews the state of practice of the use of virtual reality in transportation applications among state DOTs and discusses the use of virtual reality bicycle and pedestrian simulators at two proposed roundabouts in Bristol, Virginia.
